Operations Team Manager (Weekend Schedule)

Responsibilities
Ensuring daily safe work practices, driving Eastman Zero Incident Mindset and Indian Orchard One Team mentality.
Manage, coach, and develop a high performing operation leads to ensure safe and reliable manufacturing operations.
Ensure work practices comply with ISO/IATF standards and customer requirements.
Monitor all aspects of the operation, including but not limited to, equipment, quality, yields, supply inventory as well as coordinate and direct operational staff.
Troubleshoot operational and quality issues, and work with engineers, maintenance, and other operational staff to minimize losses.
Maintain a strong working relationship with Union Leadership and maximizes operational opportunities with regards to the collective bargaining agreement(s).
Partner with supply chain and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate short-term production plans with maintenance personnel to ensure strong collaboration and teamwork.
Actively participate in site-wide initiatives and projects.
Provide off-hours support as needed and on-call support on a rotating basis.
Serve as back up to Production Team Manager.
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Engineering or similar technical degree preferred but not required.
Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing setting required.
Supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment, preferred.
Demonstrated team leadership and team-building skills.
Strong planning, organization, facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a diverse team environment.
Excellent technical skills and effective analytical and troubleshooting/ problem-solving skills. Must possess the ability to make timely and effective decisions.
Strong working knowledge of operational, mechanical, and safety systems.
Strong computer skills; experience operating DeltaV and/or ProVox preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
